Singapore restaurant recommendations
 

Hi everyone,

One of the things I love about Singapore is the food. I enjoy both the hawker courts and the upscale restaurants. In the latter category I very much enjoyed 'My humble house' in the Durian, and also enjoyed (but was not quite as impressed with) the chinese restaurant in the Ritz-Carlton. I have heard good stories about Hai Tien Lo in the Pan Pacific but haven't been there.

Could anyone recommend a particular restaurant? Either Chinese or Malay/Indonesian, or a fusion-type restaurant like My Humble House.
