Terminals at Changi
 

I’m flying from SIN to DMK tomorrow on AirAsia and my boarding pass says Terminal 4; but when I fly from DMK to SIN on Scoot, I arrived at Terminal 1. So does Terminal 4 sound correct?

Also, my flight is at 10:15 am. I’ve seen Jewel and eaten lunch at the top of it but I haven’t seen any more of Changi. Would people recommend getting to Changi really early and exploring, since it’s allegedly the best / most interesting airport in the world?

If so how early should I depart my hotel in Little India and what are the highlights at Changi aside from Jewel? I haven’t been on the train that cuts through Jewel—that looks cool.

T4 is where Cathay + a lot of budget airlines like AirAsia use

AIrasia does allow Jewel early checkin (8am-midnight, usually up to 3hr before flight)


Jewel is like a fancy Mall - you can choose to spend time in it, you decide? browse shop, explore attractions, or more food?
you could obviously spend time exploring singapore itself (instead of changi)

i believe both airside T2<->t3 and landside T2<->3 trains go through jewel, not 100% sure though
also, unsure if you can use an AirAsia T4 boarding pass, to clear immigration at T1-3 (and then take airside bus to T4)

Just a note to point out most of the fun attractions you've probably heard of—the giant slide, butterfly garden, etc—will be at the legacy terminals rather than T4. That's not to say there's nothing at T4, but I'd rather you not build yourself up for a super special experience then be disappointed by what is in the end the budget airline terminal (plus CX).

IIRC T4 also has a slide, and the "Peranakan Love Story" virtual shophouse show. And for airlines, also KE :)
