Transiting through SIN with disposable vapes
I'm well aware that this topic was raised before, last year, however, I have heard that Singapore since 2024 has become a lot more strict when it comes to vaping.
I will be transiting through SIN on my way to MIA from LHR. The big question is can I bring my vape? |

What I'm unsure of is whether you are allowed to have them in your checked luggage or not if your bags are checked in and tagged all the way to MIA. Best to double and tripple-check that with their official customs website, the airline, etc. On a side note, how on Earth are you flying from LHR to MIA via SIN? It seems like flying to the moon via Mars. :) |

From my understanding of the laws and regulations you are not allowed to bring your vaping products.

The only issue with checking them in is the batteries although I may look into getting a vape where the batteries can be removed and kept in my hand luggage. I usually use disposable vapes where this is not possible. It's just mildly annoying as I'm not visiting Singapore until the return leg where I guess I just won't vape for 2 days. Just thought I would ask the question rather than having the hassle with removable batteries or buying vapes in Philippines of questionable quality. |
