Singapore during Lunar New year?

I should have asked last week. I landed in Singapore yesterday (Tuesday) and I went to one of the late night hawker centers. Surprisingly, few stalls were opened! I know more are typically open as I've been there late in the evening before. So what's open and closed starting today (Wednesday)? The hotel staff told me all malls were closed for two days for the new year. I'm assuming all hawker centers are now back to regular hours? Malls and restaurants?

I also landed on Tuesday. I haven't gone far yet, but went down the Little India road and everything there seemed open. I too would like an update on this, thanks all!

Lunar New Year was on Sunday the 22nd, so most things should be coming back to normal from Wednesday. But you probably already know that 😂

Yes, I was!

Totally OT, but the turbulence at the beginning of the flight was crazy!

CNY in Singapore is kinda like Christmas in western countries. Most businesses are closed.
