Recommendations for Buffets in Singapore

Well we are heading to Singapore and would usually go to feast at the StraitsKitchen at the Grand Hyatt for our fill of Chili and Pepper Crab. Price was reasonable at SGD72++ but the restaurant is going to be closed for refurbishment. So now we are a little perplexed where to go and looking for recommendations.

The Line at The Shangri La is a short walk from The Grand Hyatt - they also do a seafood special on Thursday evenings. Not sure of price but I suspect it will be closer to SGD100++ for the seafood menu

I didn’t know they were shutting down the entire hotel for the rest of 2022. That’s too bad. We really enjoyed our stay and the buffet this past June. Mr. TravelLawyer says the Carousel Buffet at Royal Plaza on Scotts was pretty
good pre-pandemic (haven’t returned since though). Same Halal friendly as the Hyatt.

They're actually going to be closed until Q1 2023.

Can highly recommend the Sunday brunch buffet at Edge in the Pan Pacific (the Marina Square one).

I’ll be there this coming Sunday (assuming the traffic ever eases and I get to Heathrow in time)
