Conrad or JW Marriott Singapore?

I would love some help in making a choice of where to stay - currently I have both booked for next week 25-29 September.

I am a HH and Bonvoy Gold member - and I had both the Conrad and Marriott price match third party sites but that means I cant decide which to keep...

The Conrad is going to cost me approx. 670 (with my price match) for a grand deluxe room and they have included lounge access and breakfast.
The JW Marriott is going to cost approx 780 (with price match) for a studio room and breakfast.

In theory I should be entitled to an upgrade in both as a gold member but the Conrad gives me executive lounge access.

What would you guys do?

As a Gold, I don't think you should realistically expect an upgrade, especially for a multinight stay.

If both locations are good for you, I'd pick lounge access and over a hundred pounds to spend elsewhere, so to me the Conrad would win.

I'd choose the Conrad. You'll get lounge access (and breakfast). At the JW not much. The rooms at the JW are strange. Both are near the MRT stops.

At some previous SIN DOs, lots of people stayed in the Conrad and it's lounge became a party place. OP might find some information there about the Conrad in addition to comments in the Hilton forum.

Bonvoy Gold ain't what Starwood Gold used to be. It's a step up from a random person walking in the door, but not a big step up. Don't expect much from it. (I speak from personal experience, though not at that specific place.)

The thread is closed since the same question has been posted in the Hilton forum where the OP received many answers.
