Luggage storage
hi, I am arriving in singapore at midnight and staying at the airport hotel at terminal 1. I have a connecting singapore flight at 1:10pm. I will leave the airport around 7:30am and go to Marina bay gardens for a couple of hours.
Question i have, where do i store my carry on luggage at the airport. do i have to go to terminal 2 departures and store it there. (My singapore airlines flight departs from there), then when i come back from marina bay gardens i go pick it up from there? or should i store it when i exit terminal 1 and leave it at the storage lockers that the airport provides?
Thanks

The solution to your question is actually with SQ (Singapore Airlines).
SQ will allow you to check in as early as 48 hours before flight time. It seems to me that the thing to do is that when you get up after a few hours of sleep at the Transit Hotel in T1, just go over to SQ check in at T2 to check in for your flight as well as to hand over your luggage.

Assuming this works for you, you now have a bit more time to wander around downtown as you don't have to deal with check in, but can just go straight to the gate when you get back to Changi Airport.

At the Singapore airport there are baggage storage facilities at each of the 3 terminals, both airside in the transit area and outside in the public areas. So there are 6 places you can leave your hand luggage.
Also, all three terminals are connected on the airside. So you can sleep at the transit hotel at terminal 1, wake up in the morning and go to terminal 2 on the airside, leave your bad within the transit area in terminal 2 or go through immigration and leave your bag in the public area in terminal 2.
I have done both, leave my had luggage airside as well as outside. The only thing is that if you leave your hand luggage airside, you need to carry your passport with you in to the city. If you leave your bag after you go through immigration, then you can leave your passport and other travel documents in your hang luggage at the luggage storage. Things are pretty safe in Singapore, but just make sure to lock your luggage.
By the way, if you search for "luggage storage at Singapore airport" on Google, it should show the relevant info on the SIN airport page:
