Difficult choice of hotels!
Loyalty programs aside, I'm faced with a choice of the following properties, all have roughly the same rate:
Intercontinental Westin Holiday Inn Express Clarke Quay Holiday Inn (Atrium, Orchard road, etc.) I left out the Sheraton....I stayed there last time. It's pleasant, but not very central without a subway ride or long walk. I'll be there basically 3 full days. Location is a bit more important than the hotel itself (which is why the HIE is on this list, although I fully know that IHG properties in Asia are pretty amazing overall). I was in town two years ago for about 4 days. Did the Orchid garden, some shopping, etc. I like the shopping malls, Chinatown, cheap eats, Clarke Quay, etc. Marina Sands was awesome, but not necessary on this trip. Any recommends? Thanks. |
Intercon, easy choice.

Second choice of IC. It is right at Bugis so you get shopping from malls, food courts, department stores to local arcades and hawker centres. It is also indoor walk to MRT Bugis station.

My vote goes for the IC.
Best location among all. MRT station below the building. Lots of restaurants in that area, you are spoilt for choice. |
How about Hotel Jen Orchardgateway?
It's right in the middle of Orchard Road. |
Choose IC lah, easy choice!:)

Please omit local slang as this is an international forum, they may not understand what you're trying to say. They might ask where is the location of IC Lah. ;)

I vote IC for the location. The hotel hard product is nothing special.
