They're not as rare you'd think. I saw a few of those mythical beasts myself and no on a regional flight too.

What route. I'm holding an F award on one next week from HKG-SIN so unless this is a longhaul, there's nothing surprising here.

ANA tool does show F and C availability on SQ231 SIN-SYD on a 77W in July, but a dummy booking on singaporeair.com shows the same flight is 744 operated.

I saw SIN-ZRH. The afternoon flight. Standard award for J. But this was back in the last week of November. I remember this because I was appalled to find out there was a waitlist for the Full award for J on the night flight. Some desperados out there who prolly have more miles than sense needing to splurge 300k of points for a J seat. The J flatbeds in the 77Ws are sexual but never 300k points fantastic.

SQ231/232 changes to a 77W on the 2nd June for 6 months or so.

I've tried to book a Business class seat on this flight thru BMI. ANA shows availability but BMI are unable to book it.

Not sure how you would get on thru SQ.
