SQ25/26 now operates with a full J class upper deck, so Y class is only available in the main cabin.

I haven't read through this entire thread, so apologies if the answer to my quetstion is already here somewhere. I am going to do a (grueling) BKK-SIN-FRA-JFK-YUL next week, arriving in New York on SQ26. Ideally I'd want to connect to DL 2955 (separate ticket obviously on a different airline and alliance) at 1 pm. Am I being overly optimisitic? The next best DL flight is out of LGA later in the afternoon, but would mean even more time and effort.
Yes, I want to fly Delta to YUL. Yes, I am doing the BKK-JFK in one go. Thanks for any advice you might be able to offer.

The last few days' arrival of SQ26 is around the scheduled time so does not look like you will get huge deviation in earlier arrivial over the next week.
You will still need to clear immigration and custom being your first stop on American soil. Then you will need to rush over to the DL terminal and clear security. This is not going to happen with 2 hours timing.
Good luck

Is it possible for me to get an award ticket for SQ 25 JFK-FRA (without SIN).
I'll like to use my A3 miles if possible for a J RT or an F OW to try SQ and the A380. Per award chart, i'm looking at both 60.000 miles for either choosing. North America-Europe, but don't have enough to make it to SIN.

Thanks, chrisksc. Since I have the luxury of time, I have decided to spend the night in New York, see friends, have an early night and fly to Montreal the next day.

Hopefully this is the right thread, and apologies for a somewhat newbie question to KrisFlyer. Mods, please feel free to move if appropriate. I just wondered what people's experiences were of redeeming miles for FRA-JFK (or JFK-FRA) in the saver category, and waitlists clearing? I'm looking to travel early January.
Does it typically clear in short order, or close to departure, or not at all?
Thanks in advance!

The above i probably right, though it might (to a much lesser extent) also have something to do with FRA and the whole reboarding/security thing, people dashing to the lounges, etc.

FWIW, went to transfer AMEX miles to Singapore Air on Friday. Just noticed this morning that they had arrived in my new account. Went online was was able to book two Suite awards, JFK to FRA, for next August. 67,500 miles each less the 15% online booking bonus. Extremely psyched.
Any ideas about the lounges I will get to use both in JFK and FRA?

I read somewhere that at NY's JFK, SQ will escort Suites class passengers from check-in to lounge, and from lounge to boarding gate = is that true?
Thank you.
Thank you.
