I flew SQ 26 FRA-JFK Suites last week. Check-in fast and easy. For security, just follow the sign for First/Business class entering the B area. Laptop/Ipad out of the bag, and also very peculiar about having liquids in transparent plastic bag. Passport control easy. For Suites they gave us access to Air Canada Maple Leaf lounge. Pre boarding, Suite passengers can access a small area with seats on the right side of the boarding area, so you can board first. Treatment on board super as always, food good but not exceptional. I love those suites, third time this year.

I’m flying FRA-JFK in the suites in a few weeks. Will I have access to any lounges on arrival at JFK by showing my F ticket?

We have a long layover at JFK before a connection on a separate ticket (American Airlines, so departing from T8).

My wife has gold status on Singapore Airlines, but not sure this makes any difference given that our connecting flight is on AA.

No access upon arrival at JFK on SQ, unfortunately.

Depending on the length of your layover, I would consider getting a day reservation at the TWA Hotel. It is connected to T5 and very close to the T5 AirTrain stop. It will cost a little more than a lounge pass, but will give you some true space and privacy.

Great suggestion -- thanks!

Is there still a mask mandate on FRA-JFK?

What pier does JFK>FRA usually arrive? I'm taking a long layover snooze at the airside transit hotel and curious if I'll need to clear security. If so, what's the average these days?

International B Gates: you'll be going from B gates to Z gates for the hotel. You'll need to clear security. I believe Schengen flight to any flight is the only transfer not requiring transit security. Follow the signs and take the SkyTrain so you don't accidentally go through Passport Control.

Non-Schengen flights from trusted origin points, including the US, do not need to reclear security at FRA (unless possibly changing piers/terminals runs through a path that requires it, not sure if that is possible).

Flew SQ26 on Friday. Just wanted to note that I got yelled at for only taking out my laptop and not my cell phones (I always carry a backup phone). "Didn't she tell you to take out your electronics?" "I thought that only meant my laptop" "So she didn't tell you to take out your electronics?" "I thought that only meant my laptop". Anyway, flight experience was amazing. We had the double suite, and we were the only ones in F.

How does that work in practice? Will my gate assignment leave me somewhere that circumvents security, or will I need to go somewhere different on my way to Z?

I don't know FRA well enough to know for sure, others may be able to advise better. But I believe since you will disembark from the SQ flight in the non-Schengen secure area of B, following the signs to Z should take you on a path there without needing to clear security.

They do say at check in that your invited into the Maple leaf lounge and its also written on the ticket but you can also access the Lufthansa business class lounge which is also much closer to the gate.

Checked both lounges this weekend before my 12:30 FRA-SIN flight and found the Maple leaf lounge very underwhelming. No warm food, poor AC, overcrowded with hardly any free seats. Then went to Lufthansa business lounge and it was almost empty, warm dish option plus soups, and most importantly nice AC.

As a Suite/First Class passenger you can use the LH Senator Lounge which is their official lounge for First Class passengers of partner airlines.
