What happens if you change your seat after check-in?
When I was sitting in the depature lounge a few days ago I decided to login to my singaporeair.com account and access the booking for the flight I was about to take. Surprisingly, only 20 minutes prior to depature, it was still allowing me to change my seat allocation (I didnt).
My question - If I had changed it, would the automatic ticket checker (pardon my terminology) have picked up on it and prompted the SQ staff to issue me with a new boarding pass? |

I can potentially see this messing up Special Meal / BTC preference selections, needing a chat with the LSS once aboard to sort out. :p |
Even though you can access the system to change your seat, maybe if you actually tried to change it the system will not accept your request?

I have never tried before in the belief that it will not work, but alas OP was successful. Though I would not do so unless I have a crappy seat location which I was resorted to select as the only option available during the initial seat selection.
