SQ21/22 A345 seat assignment
 
It looks like I might be flying premium Y on SQ21 returning on SQ22. I thought I read somewhere that you can now request specific seats on SQ instead of simply window/aisle but customer service said no. Is it possible to request specific seats - i.e., 31K?

You can do it if you check-in online via their website. I believe you can do this up to 48hrs prior to departure. It may have assigned you a seat but you can change it based on availability.

You may also select the seat at the time of booking if you book and pay for your flight on the website.

Minor clarification: it's not actually up to 48 hours prior to your flight, but starting 48 hours prior, and up to 2 hours before the flight.
