The SQ19 Menu looks great...... Especially the chilled soup part! I notice in the CGK menus there are no starters. Has SQ removed starters for the Jakarta flights?

Actually, I don't remember the soup--I think that was just used as a sauce for the crab. But, I do need to say that I was very pleasantly surprised by the rest of the menu--this time I did not BTC but had the veal chop for dinner and the roasted baby chicken for "breakfast" (plus the fish noodle soup as a midnight snack), and they were very good, IMO. I am left very impressed by SQ catering out of LAX. ^

MovieMan, I guess it will be difficult to convice you to take SQ11/12.. instead of the A345 nonstop.
In fact now I am thinking of trying that nonstop flight again. The menu sounds great, something that I can enjoy...

Comment: I don't quite remember what I had for the supper; I think I had the chicken and it was quite allright. For breakfast I had the frittata and I remembered someone saying that egg dishes on planes are generally quite hard to pull off--if this were true, then I have to say the frittata was not bad at all!

Can't comment on the meal as I did BTC but that cappuccino ice cream with coffee sauce was to die for. This was the most enjoyable flight I had yet (at the time; will write report when I finish my RTW) and I was pondering the "appropriateness" of asking for a second ice cream when the lady in red (can't remember what the title is for this) asked if I wanted seconds.

Asking for a third was too shameful even for me but I was pretty darned full by then anyway.
