Arrow Around the World Ticket

Okay, KrisFylers--Just curious your experience with the Sing Air around the world tickets. I'm asking in all alliances as I'm trying to decide which one to go with (really want to use Sing Air First for trip). Want to go first class for the whole trip. Any experiences would be appreciated!

One CRITICAL restriction on most SQ RTW's (with exception of higher price *Alliance RTW's) -- you cannot backtrack -- very few exceptions.

For example I tried to include Sao Paolo Brazil in a SQ/UA RTW... no problems BKK-SIN-SYD-SFO-ORD-GRU ... then problem GRU-IAD is considered backtrack ... rest of itin OK IAD-FRA-SIN-BKK ... pity was a goof fare in Business class (around $3.4K)

Huh? An ex-BKK SQ/UA RTW costs $5K in Business? A CRWSTAR1 ex-BKK costs only $4K. Doesn't seem right.

For someone who'd want to 'post on every alliance' for a trip that he hasn't planned, or done his homework.. I'd wait for more information.

It's almost as bad as someone calling a travel agency up in mid Feb and saying that he'd like to go anywhere 'warm.'.

Please be more specific as to what you want.. and don't let us do your homework for you.

As for your 'heaty' comments which you started on the other forums (ie Oneworld and Star Alliance), I'd be more careful in how you start your next few posts...
