Has any one tried Virgin/Singapore Air combo? I want to fly EWR-London-Tokyo-Singapore- EWR. If I can add more cities please let me know.

I've done it (I assume you mean the one that includes Air New Zealand). The nice thing about it is that it allows backtracking, so your NRT-SIN segment should be fine. Go ahead and add cities, up to 29,000 miles. But only one stopover per city.

North Pacific is only SQ/MI/VS.

South Pacific is SQ/MI/VS and NZ.

SO it depends which city you're going to originate from.

Don't fret.. there is no ex-CAI, or ex-CMB fare.

Go to singaporeair.com, change the Country Site to USA, then in the Promotions dropdown list, choose Round The World.

More relevant for australia, look at www.singaporeair.com NZ site under promotions. Four corners is the SQ/NZ/LH/VS RTW

I looked into it again. The one that is SQ/VS only (and not in F!) does not allow backtracking, so your NRT-SIN segment wouldn't work. You would have to use the one that includes NZ if you want to backtrack, per my post above. Or you could fly EWR-LHR-SIN-EWR, with NRT as a separate side trip. Or EWR-LHR-SIN-NRT-LAX, and then make your own way from LAX-EWR.

You can do the VS/SQ in F, but only where F is available. I'm booked LHR-EWR-SIN-SYD-SIN-LHR in October, first 2 sectors in J, rest in F (No F on VS or SQ21)

Hope this helps - cost was GBP5100
