Spacebed -- Window vs. aisle

If I take a window seat on the spacebed 777ER, will i be able to get up/climb over without waking my neighbor? I get up frequently and usually take the aisle to get up, tho i do prefer a window. comments?

I can usually get up and over without waking my neighbor, but it's challenging and I get strange looks from people.

I concur. If you have limber legs, can stretch, and the person in the aisle sleeps reasonably soundly, it shouldn't be a problem.

... and it helps if you are tall(ish)

and hope the person in the aisle seat doesn't wake up when you are in mid-stretch. Could give them a shock! :)

Sounds like that has happened to you swanhunter

Were you the stretcher or just waking up? :D

I personally find it difficult to climb over the next person when his/her spacebed is fully reclined, so I always try to get an aisle. (except in F, of course :) )

What about a bulkhead window seat like 11K on the 777 ER? Does this give any extra leg room to climb over?

I was the strectcher - and I think I really scared the poor woman in the aisle seat. Thankfully I avoided an international incident my explaining I was trying to not wake her on the way to the lavs.

11K is easier to get out of as there is more room - but less to hang on to!

I strongly suggest you get an aisle seat unless you know the person that is seated next to you. The only exception to this is bulkhead.
