SQ 29 LAX-SIN, How is Raffles Class?
 

Hi all,
I am scheduled to fly from LAX to SIN later this month on SQ 29. I was disappointed to find out that the equipment has been downgraded from a three class 744 to a two class 777 since the last time I flew this route. My question is, does SQ compensate for no first class by increasing any amenities or services in business class?

Question: why the disappointment in the downgrade of equipment if you are flying J, which is still offered? Were you thinking of upgrading with KF mileage to F?

To answer your question, Raffles service is enhanced in the A345 LeaderShip, but not on other 2 class aircraft, according to my experience. Still, J is J on SQ, so Im sure you will have a great flight.

I thought SQ29 had been changed into 2-class service for quite a long time. Perhaps in 2002? I would rather take SQ11 LAX-NRT-SIN. So far I always have great flights in F SQ11.

Agreed.... for the LAX-SIN route, if you are in Raffles then go for SQ11.
