Lounge Access IAH
 
Hi all

I'm flying J from MAN to IAH on SQ, connecting to Mexico on UA but economy.

Can I access the UA lounge on arrival? It seems to be they will only allow access on arrival if arrival is flying on UA and not on a StarAlliance partner. Is this right? I have a longish layover and lounge would be perfect.

Nope. Polaris arrival access requires arriving on UA metal.

Nope, this is star alliance not oneworld (which doesn't allow arrivals access, but does allow departures access when in a short haul flight in economy, based on class of travel for the long haul connecting flight).

I believe Polaris access is granted for same-day connections based on the long haul UA boarding pass. But this topic is more of a UA question than SQ.

Yes, a carrier specific benefit, not an alliance wide benefit that oneworld has.
