SQ 892 Suites (HKG) awards wide open

Singapore has updated SQ 892 (SIN-HKG) to A380 until the end of the calendar.
And saver award space (45k KF) is wide open.
Not the best flight on the suites, but it's a fair price to fly on the A380 (4 hrs).
And, the main point, there is plenty of space available, unlike on other routes.

SQ892 departs SIN at 9:40AM. The onboard catering will be the sub par breakfast service only ie no caviar not even satay. You will have to get up early just to get to the airport to enjoy the Private Room.
Returning HKG-SIN may be a better bet but there are no exclusive F lounges in HKG and you'll be sent to the sad looking Plaza Premium lounge.

Caveat emptor.

Chances is that HKG may soon be opening up, perhaps after CNY? That being the case, the SQ lounge will open as well. Plaza P is a no no....

Whether people will rush back and the flights will be full or not, is another question.

You'll be able to access TPR after arriving on SQ893, though, if so desired.

Not sure it's worth flying suites for a 3 hour flight.. Even in regular F or J on the 77w, I wouldn't even bother changing the seat into bed mode...

Not accordingly to the latest SQ lounge policy here

Arriving passengers without an onward connection are not permitted entry into the Silverkris J or F lounges. Transit passengers with an onward connection are only admitted based on the class of their onward flight. For example a passenger on J MUC-SIN but continuing on SIN-BKK on Y will not be allowed into the Silverkris J lounge in T3.

believe the access to TPR/SKL on arrival for Suites/FCL pax is a 'silent' policy that is not published.

Actually, it is published - footnote 3 of the document in Alawyer's post.

Oh yes you're right I stand corrected. Am still fuming about this policy update after being turned away at SKL yesterday morning
