Anyone flown SQ25/26 JFK-FRA recently? Mask question

Just took SQ25 from JFK-FRA-SIN, suites
Told to wear masks on boarding, once on didn't put it back on until getting off at FRA, but noone in the airport was wearing one. Then on boarding again from FRA-SIN, instructed to wear them for boarding, but took it off once on board, never asked to put it on. The whole process makes no sense.

There was never a need for you to re-clear security at FRA. Upon exiting the aircraft in Germany, SQ ground staff will direct all pax flying onward to JFK to the transit area (where you can access the AC or LH lounges if you so wish).
