Business standard versus flexi
I am looking at booking a one-way SIN-SFO flight, and I face a choice of business standard or (for about S$1000 more) business flexi. The only relevant difference I can see is that the cancellation fee shows up as S$340 for the standard or S$270 for flexi. Changes are also free with the flexi. Are there other differences I should know? Any reason to book flexi versus standard?
(I am sure there is a thread on this, but my search didn't find it)

Yes, this is the table I was looking at when I made my post. So no differences I'm unaware of, just the small reduction in the booking cancellation fee and the fact that booking change fees are complimentary in one case? I am not earning KrisFlyer miles in any case. So seems like a minor difference for SGD 1000 on my flight.

Every airline has huge price gaps between their booking classes and that shouldn't come as a surprise. More expensive fares are not designed to offer any value other than a lot more revenue for the airline.
The obvious advantage of a higher - or the highest - fare is that you have access to the last seats on any given flight.
