The rules for HON Circle are very clear: it has to be a flight operated by LH/LX/OS ("LH metal"). Code share flight numbers are 4-digits and are excluded from earning HON miles. Very easy to distinguish IT-wise and this has always been the case since 2004 and there has never been a loop hole.
