F Class Availability
 

SQ removed F until November 2021, and that appears to have been extended, until End of Feb 2022, according to OMAAT - except there is no F availability in March 2022, paid or redemption. Anyone know when its likely to return?

I have a First Award reservation for February 2022 and spoke to a telephone agent about alternatives. He said the agents had received no information from the company about First Class being unavailable for my dates and therefor could offer nothing as an alternative. Similarly, there has been nothing from SQ, official or otherwise, about removing First Class so far into the future. So I'm just going to sit on my reservation and see how things shake out. I find it hard to believe that SQ would permanently remove its signature premium service a year in advance, especially given the rapidly changing situation with covid vaccinations becoming more widely available.

There's a huge difference between not selling F and changing the schedule, downgrading all flights to aircraft w/o F.
At this point it's just SQ being careful trying to avoid ending up in a situation where they have to rebook people because they changed the aircraft last minute.
Considering SQ's fleet, it is not unlikely that once borders open again and demand picks up, quite a few destinations will be served with a 4-class aircraft.
However, it's impossible to predict which ones that'll be, so they're trying to be safe rather than sorry ;)

Booked a SIN-CDG round trip at the end of the year in J as F is still not open (despite having an A380 scheduled). I called them, and they mentioned they don't yet know when F will be open. They confirmed, however, that it'll be possible to change the award class from J to F once F opens again. Wait and see...

SQ will deploy a 777-300ER with F class to London in June. But then they are not selling the F seats at all.

Probably not before summer (July and later) 2022 ;)

check SQ app or website for SQ306 in June. You search first class they say no flight available. But if search business class, SQ306 with 777-300ER will show up.

I see some F are loaded for cash and redemptions in June for some routes CGK, HKG, SYD.

They have updated their schedules for June :D, I have checked as you have said, and can see they have made those routes available for redemption, at advantage rates.

F / A class now loaded on London 77W flights (which look almost daily) but zero out currently. But looks like it's coming as well
