Where will SQ continue to fly its A380 post covid?

With EK & LH reducing most of their A380, any idea or speculation which destinations will remain for SQ new Suites?
Was supposed to be on one to LHR but covid.

Whether this is feasible or not who knows.

Air france and Ethiad appear to be grounding theirs forever, but no word on what SQ isa going to do. I wont be completely shocked if they begin to be phased out. Im wondering if SQ will have any F offering if they do go this route after the 77w leaves service as well.

Well I can say that they will not fly to Japan. Had my Mar/Apr 2020 new suites award tickets cancelled and now all a380 flights downgraded to 777/787/a350

Interesting. Sorry to hear that.

Ive got a JFK-FRA-SIN roundtrip booked for Jan 2021 that is still showing as being on the A380. There is still plenty of time for that to change, but I have my fingers crossed.

I've got suites on SQ25 for early September, still showing A380.

Retirement from the fleet.

SQ has already reduced its A380 footprint by not renewing the Airbus lease of several A380 years ago. Given SQ's average fleet age is less than 10 years, A380 will be too old for SQ.

Well, not that I expect it to hold (not even sure we'll be able to travel), but our SQ638 SIN-NRT in mid-Oct 2020 is still showing A388 with new Suites & latest J product. We are booked in J, not F though. YMMV

My booking of SYD-SIN in late July on SQ222 has had the seat reassigned. I assume the plane has changed from an A380 to an A350 as the new seat number is in J not F. Unfortunately details not showing on the website.

(Yes I am aware that it will likely not be possible to take the trip anyway due to current Australian govt restrictions.)

According to ExpertFlyer, SQ222 from SYD to SIN will be an A350 (Long Haul Layout) until 31 July.
From 1 August, the route reverts back to an A380 (Version 2).
