SQ cancelled flight ... miles forfeited?
SQ cancelled IAH-MAN-SIN in April.
this was an award ticket where I had previously modified the dates.
SQ tells me the ticket can’t be reissued in June (when in theory the flight restarts) because it’s over 12 months since the Original ticket was issued.
I was also told I can’t get the miles back because they would had expired in Jan 2020.
Has anyone run into this?
it seems ridiculous SQ punished customers because flights cancelled due to COVID-19
