Need help!!! SQ 25/SQ26
 

We (myself, wife and two young kids) have a trip booked with Singapore Airlines in Mid May out of Jacksonville Florida to Bali. Flight path is JAX-JFK-(FRA)-SIN-DPS. This was booked with a third party (Expedia). SQ sent a cancellation notice for SQ 25 and return SQ26. However all my other flights are still active as they are not impacted. I reached out to SQ today and they said nothing they can do as this was booked with third party (really upset with Expedia and will never booked third party again as this was a holiday package (flight and hotel)). Expedia will only help individuals with flights within the next 7 days (which I understand), but what am I supposed to do in this scenario? Should I consider the trip fully cancelled at this point? Anyone else going through this? There are different flights available out of NYC (New Ark direct or through LHR), but if no one can help all of those flights will probably get booked.

Just wait a while. SQ will offer SQ22/21 via EWR as an alternative. They are still doing the rebooking option for the earlier departures for March n April. Your trip is in May.

Wait a few weeks. By then either Indonesia will be restricting travellers from the US or vice versa and you won’t be able to go anyway.

That's unfortunately most probably the truth. I'd sit back and try to relax, not to think too much about it for the time being.
