JFK-SIN Saver Availability

Hi. I've scanned ahead from now until January 2021 - I'm having extreme difficulty finding any saver availability on JFK-FRA-SIN.

Does anyone have any tips or trips they could please share that would help with booking this route?

Thanks!

EDIT: Suites Class

What class?

First class saver is only waitlist for certain days of the week. And the waitlist might not even clear.

SQ want you to book advantage since JFK is only the USA route with suite.

Which days of the week for waitlist? Has there never been suites saver for booking straight away?

I've been monitoring this flight for ages. I have not seen any straight up suites awards since September and October.

In Sept last year I managed to book 2 suites saver tickets for JFK-FRA-SIN for mid-July 2020 flying during the week. Unfortunately I had to cancel them as my plans changed. You need to look hard and far out and be lucky.

Perhaps SQ is anticipating the new suites entering at the tail end of this year?

expertflyer still says F9 in December

nothing stopping them from switching - there's a low chance of 8 seats being taken 1 year in advance

Yes, but they arent releasing many saver awards on the new suites. They want revenue in those seats. It's total speculation, but I think they will stop releasing the space before they make an official announcement

not possible at all. Their plan already fixed for this Year. They can’t get 3 A380 with new suites to serve JFK yet.

IME you are lucky to even find waitlist is still open on the route.

And if JFK really change to new suite, can totally forget about saver or even advantage award for suite.

I see advantage open... if we know new suite are coming would it be worth booking 12 months out now even if it essentially burns all my points? Or would ya'll suggest I just find another flight to take on Singapore Suites, in saver?

I found (and booked) 2 saver suites JFK-FRA-SIN in August 2019 for travel 50 weeks out. I found them consistently for the week - Mon to Thu - for a couple of weeks. My experience is that they are available far in advance but you have to check every day, twice a day and grab them when you can. I haven't checked since August but was checking in the months leading to it.

JFK-SIN route needs 3 planes to operate so I don't expect it to get the new suites anytime soon.
