Yay - i didn't think they would ever resurrect this sector. Now it'll be a lot easier getting to my EU HQ in Antwerp.

Let's hope they can make this one work unlike some of their other European flights that have been struggling.

What are you referring to with 'Long haul aircraft?
I doubt you are referring to the aircraft used for EWR & LAX?

I'm guessing it's referring to the 42J/24W/187Y configured A350 as opposed to the 40J/263Y "regional" configuration.

There are there A350 types in the SQ fleet.

Regional
Long haul
Ultra long haul (used for LAX and EWR)

Apparently TG is doing rather well on BKK-BRU so I guess not entirely without merits as an option. Not interesting for my travel patterns, but another option to Europe can't hurt. I still prefer VIE for selfish reasons .

If BRU is viable on the basis of *A connections, then probably MUC upgauge to daily A380 should be viable too, no?

Hope they keep the A350 on MUC, prefer the A350 way more than A380.

Damn! I thought I'd have nice additional options for heading out to ATH (better than Scoot, or going via IST as SQ website tries to do), but I'd much rather have the A350 regional config.

(I don't like the twist seat. Even the bulkhead seats aren't very comfortable, whereas regional ones don't have any issue.)

Yes, pretty likely!

I do wonder though if demand to BeNeLux proves to be so high that they upgraded SIN-AMS to 77W for the W20 calendar.

Any ideas as to what's causing the push of flights in this region? (To some extent, I wonder how well SIN-DUS is doing; it's still 4x weekly after a year or so.)

SIN-AMS should be seen as partial recovery of downgauge and not upgauge...

SIN-DUS seems very dependent on DUS MICE/ trade fairs. Else freq would have been increased. What I don't really understand why DUS is a terminator and not coupled with another city to "regularise" loads.
