SQ 639 - aircraft type

Have a flight upcoming on this route in a couple of months. The airline seat map for J shows six abreast, while Seatguru shows 1-2-1. Anyone know which it is at the moment, and if 2-2-2, any chances of SQ switching to the better config in three months? Thanks.

currently it is the 777-300ER with the 1-2-1 seating. But will switch to the older 777-300 with 2-2-2 seating from 27/10.

It is the 777-300ER with 1-2-1 seating at the moment but from 28 oct onwards will switch to the 777-300 with the old regional Business Class with angled lie flat seats in 2-2-2 config. It will likely stay that way according to the schedule unless there’s a last minute equipment swap.

ugh. Any info on why the change, or whether it's likely to change back at some point?

Don’t think got chance to swap back at least until April.

The 777-300ER is needed for the CDG who go 10 weekly in the winter schedule . (So need 3 x777-300ER).
