mySQUpgrade on SFO-SIN & BLR-SIN A350?

Booked a mix of Premium economy and full fare Y for SFO-HKG-SIN-MAA//BLR-SIN-SFO. Logged into mySQUpgrade but was only offered a chance to bid on SIN-MAA sector. Does SQ not offer chance to upgrade on US flights as well as their new A350 regional routes?

It depends on a number of factors. Do not count on a chance to bid.

This is interesting. Was this for the whole route or to/from HKG only.

Auto-correct strikes again. Should say "did not."
I only flew sfo-hkg r/t. No opportunities either way.

They are able to fill the J seats to/from SFO. So no need for any upgrade bid. Those short haul with multiple frequency such as HK or BKK will have more chance of upgrade bid.

Makes sense, hence why I thought it was interesting. This is usually a busy route so surprised to see upgrade opportunities, particularly both ways.

I think J was full. PE on the return was maybe half full, but was completely full on the outbound.
There was only one F pax lined up with they called for F, but I don't know if that means anything.
