Totally agree on the SKF lounge.

Concerning the ranking, as I said, it really depends on the day. I really like Krug regular and rose, both will usually be a winner, but Dom vs. PH is not so clear.

Any word on the reason for the shortage?

I’m afraid so.....

Piper Rare is still flowing in T2SQF but not in T3SQF...... and apparently once the stock is finished in T2SQF that’s .... gone ..... SQT3F has non vintage as a ‘replacement’ for Rare.... go figure.....

SQSKL now has Lanson NV, which I personally prefer over CH NV....

What a replacement.

Enjoy the Lanson and then "the widow" will probably provide some consolation once you get to the shores with the greener grass.

The Lanson on offer in the T3 SKL is actually the "extra age" version, which is arguably superior to the regular NV.

At the complete opposite end of the beverage scale, but related concept, was at the SYD F lounge a couple of weeks ago, and Coke has been replaced by Pepsi. Apparently lots of complaints and looking at switching back. So it's not just the expensive champagnes that are being switched and causing angst!!

Was there too and would have commended the change to Pepsi, had I known.

I was sticking with bubbly and Sauvignon blanc though.

My main complaint about the SYD F lounge is the now limited view due to the recently built extension right outside the window. Only way to save the day would be to convert it into a lounge patio.

It’s very disappointing and a significant downgrade for a FCL.... I didn’t bother with the Lanson & just headed back to T2SQF for the Rare before it gets even rarer......

MUC FCL now has one of the best FCL Champagne offering with Pommery Cuvee Louise ^

Well that's great news! Save me a few glasses I'll be there on the 14th and 15th. Hope the stock last that long.

Your luck has to turn positive sometime

All stock gone in T3 just ‘some bottles ‘ left at T2 , hope you make it there before it’s finished

Makes sense to drink while T2 still has it.

Louise at MUC and Dom at TPR are probably the top champagne offerings now, at least at *A lounges. ^

Since the barman in T3 said it’s not coming back IHO.... whilst I’m not a fan of T2SQF it was the deciding factor

Well I can confirm as of yesterday T2SQF had no more PHR... :-( Said she ran out earlier in the day...just missed it. Ahh well, we went over to TPR and enjoyed a fabulous dinner along with some 2009 DP.

Soon to leave for MEL and will report if they have finally stocked the Krug. The anticipation here is really making this wine taste good.

As a note, there was no Krug on the MNL > SIN leg as well, also mentioned by pokfur & demue
