Sfo-nrt-hkg

Im looking to fly from sfo to nrt then to hkg. I checked sq but only direct flights is from lax to japan. Which japanese airline’s premium class from sfo to nrt would you recommend? Is Japan Airline’s business or first product good? I also have american airlines, chase ur pts and amex pts. I can transfer amex to star alliance and redeem ANA. Their premium product good? Easy to find award space?

If you need to go SFO to NRT before hong kong It's a bit of a toss up. EVA, ANA, and JAL are all very good, JAL will be your only way to take a good first. Shame you cant go HK first as you could go SFO to HK direct on SQ.

You don't consider NH "good" F?

BR doesn't fly SFO-TYO. You'd have to connect in TPE.

JL & NH both have excellent J & F cabins. Don't know if they fly F out of SFO but check. I think UA and AA are your other options. If you're booking JL or AA - you might get a better deal using AK's charts. NH is usually a great deal through VS.

You'll have to compare the charts on these yourself. And of course see where you can transfer your points to.
