Wines on SQ Suites/FIRST

Is there a list of wines and champagnes that SQ offers in Suites/First.
If not, please feel free to post menus if you have some.

Do you remember any the used to serve?

These vary by route. Where are you flying on SQ?

There are F menus for some SQ routes posted in the FT all airline menu thread.

Depends on your route... but some recent examples include
Current Champagne: Dom 2009, Krug 2004 (Krug not offered on shorter flights?)
2014 Dalrymple Cave Block Chardonnay, Tasmania, Australia
2014 Dr Loosen Bernkasteler Lay Riesling Kabinett, Mosel, Germany (on two different routes)
2014 Maison Albert Bichot Chateau Long-Depaquit, Chablis Grand Cru les Blanchots, Burgundy, France
2017 Greywacke Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough, New Zealand
2011 Poliziano Asinone Vino Nobile de Montepulciano, Italy
2015/2016 Clonakilla O'Riada Shiraz, Canberra, Australia
2007 Chateau Leoville-Poyferre, Saint-Julien, Bordeaux, France
2006 Chateau Cos d'Estournel, Saint-Estephe, France
2015 Paringa Estate Pinot Noir, Mornington Peninsula, Australia
Dow's 20 year port

Budget

SQ recently cut budget for wines (not champagne) and wine can now start as low as 15 USD per bottle. Most expensive red wine was Penfold's RWT that sells north of 125 USD and that one can still be found on some US flights (at least last month).

Can anyone give an update on the current drink lists? Flying SQ F/Suites in FEB and MAR. Thank you.

Wouldn't SQ send you the list when you contact them?

I would be interested, too.

I've posted recent lists for NZ and Japan routes in the FT menu thread.

Thank you Kiwi but I couldn't find anything recent from 2020 in the index?

Sorry the index isn't quite fully up to date. Just go to the last post and work backwards from there. Should be some posted around mid January 2020.

Thank you very much!

Looks like it’s Dom plus either Krug or Taittinger, not three options as originally announced.

If true, does not make me happy, as I like Krug best and don’t care too much about Dom. :(

which route are you currently thinking of flying?
krug will serve on half of the fleet while tattinger will be on the other half and swap after February ends. (If I’m not remember wrongly I read it somewhere)

SIN-SYD-SIN

Looks like I will get Dom and Taittinger only in one direction.

Not happy, as Krug 2004 is far superior to both. Very cheap move of SQ to take Krug off 50 percent of the flights and the usual “enhancement” for the worse. Originally sounded like there would be a third champagne to choose from and now turns out to be great Krug and two mediocre champagnes on “rotation”.

pokfur Feb 6, 2020 3:24 am

I believe it’s back to Krug NV and not the 2004 anymore, as was the case on my MNL flight last week.

I was very happy though, because MNL used to only get Dom. At least now there’re 2 choices to choose from!

If I’m not mistaken, Krug 2004 was served on SIN-LHR flight last week. (I didn’t take photo so I ain’t 100% sure)

The menus of SQ suites to AKL posted for Jan show Krug 2004, hope they are right.

But even NV would be much better than Dom or Taittinger.
