Advice on O class availability on SQ
 

Am attempting to book star alliance redemption through Air Canada's Aeroplan for travel on SQ first - booked in O class.

Have called SQ in Oz to get availability for O class, and have then called Aeroplan with itinerary to book.

For over 10 days now, AC system has been showing PN - no HK has come through.

Any suggestions/experience securing SQ inventory? (also posted in AC forum)

Extremely difficult to get O classs (First Class) award ticket out of SQ if you're not Krisflyer. I only had 2 successful cases in the last 2 year, one of which I had to call the day of departure to get my award O on LH switched to SQ.

I'm also contemplating using some NZ points I've got stashed away for an F class award on SQ NYC-DPS or NYC-BKK. I'm capable of planning 330 days out. Does SQ release seats that far out, and does calling on the 330th day increase my chances of snagging a seat?

Or does SQ wait until it gets closer to departure to start moving seats to O?
