PPS Question

OK - perhaps I am stupid but I just realized that I could qualify from PPS and still book my miles on UA. SO --- now that it is September I have easily flown enough SQ miles in paid F to qualify, but the question is will they let me apply after the fact??

fimo Sep 3, 2002 4:05 am

FYI PPS qualification does not go by calendar year instead your sectors are tracked on a rolling 12 month cycle.

Do you already have a KF number? If you don't, I think you are out of luck. as far as I know SQ does not give retroactive credit. If you do have a KF number, then I'm sure a call to KF/SQ can sort this out.

Others will probably be able to help you better.

Or feign misinformation on your part. Contact your local US SQ office and explain that you thought that you could apply by showing all your paid F class flights on SQ after your flights. Maybe the local office might bend the rules a little but I wouldn't try this with Singapore.

Guy Betsy - are you seriously in BKK now? I just left yesterday!

Guy Betsy,

You must try CX's new inflight email service. You can send all the good reports of the inflight service from 35,000 feet - since you are the TA from 35,000 feet.

G.B - have you tried the inflight email service?

My wish dream would be to send live reports from 35,000 feet from the aircraft to FlyerTalk.com and discuss the current inflight experience. Is this other forum seekers dream or is it just my dream! I hope this will come true one day.

This is my dream as well. I think that with time we may even see it become a reality

Similarly, your travel agent can probably do the same with your appropriate sales office.

HEY ! Isn't this the SQ forum? What are you talking CX here for?

Thanks, OneworldFan, but I'm too busy trying to figure out how StudioCX works! Besides I left my Powersupply cable in YYZ for my computer. Maybe next time.

Well then it's good that SIA doesn't have this e-mail thing then!
