Does shuttle SIn-KUL qualify for miles?

As another 5x5 promo-traveller, an SQ flite out of SIn is the last one I need (based in Europe), and as the alternatives (SK on BKK-SIN) are already taken by then: I need to be very sure I get a fare that does qualify for LH M&M. Could not find this answer in the extensive posts below, so appreciate any
answer. If not, I guess SIN-PEN would be the alternative? Are these flites usually fully booked long advance (out of the weekend peaks)?

As fare as i'm aware you can only buy a full economy which is RM444 + taxes. Works out to be AUD$283 or US$150 or so, return.

It would be a Y class ticket?

From what I'd read elsewhere, shuttle KUL/SIN flights do NOT earn miles.

sin-kul will count against the promo with the exception that it wont count towards the SQ 55555 promo - will qualify with LH

Shuttle flights don't count for miles, considering that you may not fly SQ metal.

SQ SIN-KUL OW is S$152, Y class with FF accrual (just flew 2 weeks ago).

Shuttle flights do earn miles at least on my UA Milage Plus account. I've taken several over the last few months and have always been credited with 208 miles each way.
Mid-day mid-week shuttle flights should be pretty easy to get on. Walk up to the Shuttle check-in desk in the ticketing area, buy a return ticket to KL, and get a number. When your number is called you collect your boarding pass.

One important thing; the shuttle tickets can be used on either Singapore or Malaysian Airlines. Most people don't care and take who's ever flight is leaving next. Make sure, when you get your number for a boarding pass, that the flight you are getting the boarding pass for is SQ so you'll earn the points (not on Malaysian). If it isn't then just step to the back of the line and wait for the next flight.
(For $50 Singapore dollars more you can just buy reserved tickets on the internet and be assured that you are on an SQ plane.)

I'm doing this roundtrip as well; to qualify for the LH promotion outbound and the UA promotion on the way back to Singapore.

edsh - thanks for the information, I've always been told that shuttle flights are not eligible for points. This is useful info!

Als from me: thanks all who responded. For me (as I had a AMS-BKK anyway booked long ago on OS+NG), it will be singles on TG/domestic, single (local purchase) on SK BKK-SIN, then next out on SQ to either KUL or PEn and back to BKK by train!

SQ SIN-KUL-SIN flights don't count towards the KRISFLYER programme if that's what you want to know. BUT it does towards AC, LH as far as I know.

My flights on SQ SIN-KUL shuttles last December DID count towards Krisflyer.

Anyone know if SQ SIN-KUL (Y class) count on NH (ANA) Mileage Club??

I suspect it doesn't...which could make the 55,555 not so good with NH..

This is what my LH M&M milage statement has to say about the milage accrual of SIN-KUL shuttle filghts:
----
Code:

29.09.2001 Singapur-Kuala Lumpur SQ 0116 M  + 500  + 500
 Exec. Bonus (25% d. Statusmeilen)    + 125  + 125
