That is correct. As long as one segment is on a *A partner its considered a *A award. We are flying J SQ JFK-FRA and LH FRA-LHR and F SQ LHR-SIN-HAN under a *A award.

Thanks, after 2 hours on hold I found out that *A award is actually cheaper than straight sq - at least for some routing.
How far in advance did you have to book to get the SQ J and F on your awards?
