Amazing! ^ How many miles in total? Did you issue two separate tickets? (JFK until SYD, than a second from SYD to HKG?

Thank you!

Any speculation on when an announcement confirming this would be made?

I have 2 F seats on SQ305 in late May and am hoping they'll be the new suites...

Any new guesses on this? My speculative SQ305 booking for next year was switched to a 777.

Even considering that SQ305 has been switched to a 777?

My SQ305 booking still shows an A380, holding out hope...

I'm not sure about this logic. From what I can see there are other A380 routes where no more than 6 first class seats are available, eg ZRH-SIN next summer.

Not sure if SIA wants to use new A380 on SQ322. This flight is always full or close to full. If swaps to new aircraft, the capacity will drop by half. So putting new A380 on ZRH is logical.

Hmmm SQ might be restricting suites availability on multiple routes that they plan to launch the new cabins in... they do love to keep people guessing when each route will get the new A380.

With all the speculation, I would think that the main consideration would most likely be which route can afford to lose 6 suites, 10 business class seats (for full J upper deck configs since it's a net gain of 18 J seats for those with the mixed J/Y upper deck) and where we can sell 90+ more Y seats (net gain of 10 Y seats for the mixed upper deck). This means the SIN-LHR-SIN rotation that is less premium cabin heavy and more Y heavy based on historical sales and load factors has the better chance of getting the new A380.

I think it is safe to assume the first destinations for SQ new 380s are SYD(221/232), LHR(305/322), ZRH(325/326), and HKG(860/863).
