Maximum number of layovers on award tickets?
Anyone know if there is a maximum number of layovers that SQ allows on award flights?

e.g. can I fly KUL-SIN-ZRH-FRA-JFK/EWR for the same price as flying KUL-SIN-FRA-JFK?

You can do 4 segments in 1 award but the taxes and surcharges component might be a lot more than 2-segment KUL-SIN-JFK on Sq metal.

You should try to have as much SQ metal as possible where there is practically no surcharges.
