SIN-CBR service is changing from May 1... it will become a 1-way circular route, SIN-SYD-CBR-SIN-SYD-CBR.

So the good news is that it will operate daily, with a B777-300ER. The bad news is the stop in SYD on the SIN-CBR direction, and the loss of the direct CBR-WLG service.
No idea how this will affect existing bookings for SIN-CBR, with the new service almost 12 hours out of sync with the old one. At present both services are available for purchase via the website and I can still view my booking for July. Maybe they are committed to an overlap period.

We're looking forward to CX's CBR service - we're seeing it as a way to get into Sydney outside of the 70-weekly restricted flights (HK-Australia bilateral strictly enforced by Australia cos HKSARG gave QF the finger over JQ HK).

SQ 247 - original dep was 2am, updated dep is now 8pm
SQ 237 - original dep was 11:45pm; updated dep is now 12:25am

Ouch! I have had 11 hours added onto a journey to CBR but a 16 hour change sounds horrific. I am going to see if I can be rescheduled onto a SYD or MEL flight with a domestic connection instead.
