This could be a game changer if we can just recycle the water./

I feel that with all that technology built in, into inflight systems, there is a possibility to sanitize toilet flushed water as drinking water.

I agree. There must be a better way of innovating and cultuvating water for drinking with a simple device or machine.

Flown Y intra S.E. Asia last night, hot towel is there.
However, food portion especially meat is a little shy. Rice is abundant.
Reminds me of the Singapore's hawker/food court price and serving LOL...

This is not good. Hope they are not reducing portions in their meals.

Well we already have it on the ground, so it's just a matter of shrinking the machinery until it's small and light enough to fit on a plane

I received a hot towel in Econony yesterday - on a 1 hour, 6 minute flight during which they served an entire 777-300 a hot meal. And that despite service being suspended for 5-10 minutes mid-flight due to turbulence.

Hot meal? Really?

Never had any meals served to me on an SQ/Silk Air flight that was an hour in flight.

It is impossible for the crew to not only serve 300 odd passengers and then to retrieve the meal packs there after within 1 hour.

Did you perhaps error in stating 1 hour 6 minute flight? I am going to assume you flew Singapore to Jakarta maybe? And it was 1 hour 36 minute flight?

Looks like there is a missing digit in the original post.

The next shortest SQ flight after KUL would be CGK, so my guess would be that.
