SQ gives Schooling 1 million miles + KF elite gold
For winning Singapore's first ever gold at the Olympics, shouldn't SQ give at least PPS and not the useless KF elite gold?
Come on, SQ! (The 1 million miles are well deserved though!) And add to that his F flight from GIG to SIN! :) |
Doubt he cares. He lives in the US.
Oh, and they're both as useless as each other. |
Watch the debate at SQ's Facebook page.
Some praised the gesture, others lambasted SQ as stingy. https://m.facebook.com/singaporeair/posts/10154442319713679?refsrc=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.straitst imes.com%2Fsingapore%2Fsingapore-gears-up-to-welcome-olympic-champion-joseph-schooling |

KF gold could be useful if he ever finds himself needing to fly around on United.

The bigger question is, do those miles have the same three year expiration? :D

Oh, and they're both as useless as each other. The US tax bite is worse than in Singapore. $1M in Singapore dollars (roughly US$750k) from the Singaporean government would be a welcome payment! However, US$750k doesn't go very far in Singapore. Real estate is very expensive. Car prices are crazy (think US$100k to US$200k for an ordinary car or cheaper BMW). |

Will the IRS try to tax it?
