No more A380 to HKG?

I was trying to do some booking SIN-HKG 30April to 1May and I notice there is no more A380 services anymore to HKG.

The 9ish am flight and around midday flight now are no longer using A380. And now only mid day flight has PE class

Is this permanent or temporary?

I have noticed that PVG also lost A380. Where the A380s are being used now adays other than long haul?

SQ860 is A380 for both April 30 and May 1 and there is no change.

Krisflyer bookings don't show flight in sequential time order: Scroll down and the morning flight is shown as the last flight.

Can the mods change the title and include "False Alarm"?

On my browser it's clicking the "SEE MORE" button that does the trick, not scrolling down. That's probably why it seems hidden. Default is that flights are ordered by duration (shortest to longest), not departure time.

Well I am quite sure I saw all flights. But I did not pay close attention to SQ860 as I expected SQ856 is the one woth A380.

And yes now saw SQ863 (HKG-SIN) is on A380 on 2May which I am quite sure that not the case yesterday as only SQ856 offers PE.

Never mind at least good to know that A380 is still flying to HKG

Don't think it'll be coming off any time soon - it's how a lot of the 380 pilots get their one takeoff + landing per month done.

Well, Mumbai also lose A380s from time to time over period of a few weeks. For example, now it is operating with 77WN.

This has come on and off since last year. I believe it's due to refurbishment of A380s for PEY?

So it looks like they rotate the routes.
Only the long hauls are not touched.

I'm booked for a visit to HK in October and will be using A380. Seats for me were available in upper deck.

Flew SQ 863 in J recently. Flight and service were fantastic. I also see both 860 and 863 on upcoming dates.

I booked one in April from HKG to SIN, waitlisted on the way back on the 380. I am debating if I should just book the 777 on the way back or fly biz on Cathay

I flew the 777 on one of my returns SIN-HKG. It was fine of course, not nearly as "luxurious" (for lack of a better word) as the 380, but to be fair, flights were just under 4 hours, so.....

I waitlisted for the A380 on the way back, but in the meantime I grabbed the seat on the flight in the 777-300ER (not the regional 200).

I'm scheduled on SQ863 in suites for Aug 7th. After seeing this post, I got worried and double checked my reservation. The reservation still show A380 however, if you try to book Y or J tickets online, flight SQ863 doesn't come up. If you search for F, it will. That is weird. I checked +/- 3 days and same result. Why would SQ not allow any booking in Y or J for SQ863?

****Edit******** Never mind the flight is showing, under "show more" weird that it's not on the initial listings while they have flights before and after it.
