SQ to Athens 2016
Have SQ discontinued the direct seasonal service to Athens in 2016?
The booking system takes you via Rome or Istanbul.

word has it that the summer services will not be continued in view of poorer loads in 2015 as well as continued crisis faced in Greece

I wonder whether Scoot will be better placed in operating routes like this than its parent airline.

I was thinking the same thing. The other possibility is a stopover in Jeddah (taking over from SQ via Dubai and Scoot will fly direct) but it will be flying over volatile region to ATH...
