First Class Check-in Access for Mixed Class Ticket

Wondering if anyone had managed to check in at the Changi T3 First Class door on a mixed-class ticket? I am specifically referring to SIN-Japan on Business class as there is no First class on the flight, followed by NRT-SIN Suite.

I am guessing accessing the First class lounge would be a far stretch (let alone the Private Room) given the above condition.

Your chances would be better if you had a FC flight connecting to business class or vice versa. Your ticket seems to be RT with the outbound in business class but the return segment (presumably on a later date) in FC.

Your check in possibility is based on your departing flight. Since its in J, you have to check in at the Business Class counter and use the J section of the SK Lounge.

You phrase your question as if you're transiting Japan, but in reality your flight is an open jaw return, with your outbound entirely in Business. So naturally you're not eligible for any First class benefits in SIN.

This case definitely will have to use the business class check-in.

But I don't think you will be turned away either if you are already there, they are not busy, and plead ignorance.

No entitlement to any First Class benefits at SIN, when we are talking about outbound and inboud rather than transit through SIN.

Yes it is an Open jaw, and my bad I didn't intend to make it sound like a transit. I was coming from the angle of "passenger could have flown First for both legs but First is not available on the First leg." Anyway I rest my case - no hopes pined on this one.
