I've paid for SQ out of my own pocket a few times since living in Singapore .... always purchased elsewhere with very long stopovers in SIN (the longest was a 10 month stopover ) . Now AUD has dropped, it working very well for me now for ex-Australia coupling Aus-SIN with SIN-other destinations (but alas only economy works ex-Aust.)

wow, 5 year anniversary. Well, maybe you'll get used to it by the 10th year?

So, August is here. Has anyone traveled Premium Economy on SQ yet? Impressions? Pictures?

Will do.

But in saying that, I'm pretty sure that someone'll post up their thoughts and pics on the SQ PE by this time next week!

Interesting to note that 9V-SKJ has PE installed. She's operating SQ322 now, returning SQ317 on 8/8, in time for the NDP flypast on 9/8 (or backup) before operating SQ221 to Sydney.

This is the seatmap for SQ317 8/8. PE is sold as EY, so some lucky folks get to try out the new seat.

9V-SWL, the first re-fitted 77WR, is performing 231 - 10th SIN -- SYD....two days ahead of the first trip as originally planned. S inventory still opens for booking only from the 12th forward.

This frame will initially be assigned to 231/222 just as 9V-SKJ is initially assigned to 221/232.

I haven't flew on one yet. But I saw the real seat on the travel fair about a month ago and seat on it. I think it is good product. The
PTV is quite huge and the remote control is as big as PSP with touch pad on it.

Someone tweeted about his SIN-SYD flight on Twitter.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53qA...ature=youtu.be

You have to go to his Twitter account (Roger Ng@iUnspoken) to see the pics.
