Significant upgrade to F amenity bag
 

Is Sothys out? Our last few SQ flights including SQ11 LAX-NRT two weeks ago featured terrible Sothys products.
Smelled so bad that I didn't use them or bother taking them home.

But a major upgrade last weekend on SQ12 NRT-LAX. Attractive and great smelling Ferragamo products including cologne and eau de toilette. ^ Keepers for both of us. Hopefully, this is the new F amenity standard.

A PPS member on sqtalk just posted that they're bringing back those ferragamo amenity kits starting in may.. Looks like you got one of the first! :) definitely a step up from the Sothys.

I got one in November of last year on the new 77WN from NRT-SIN... was wondering where they'd disappeared... glad they are making it the mainstay now

I flew SIN-CDG Suites on Apr 4 and got the Sothys kit. On the return (SQ319 First on the 77WN), I got the Ferragamo.
But both were shockingly empty: no toothbrush, no ear plugs, no comb.

The lavs are typically stocked with toothbrush/paste packs.

Hoping to get the new kits my JFK-FRA-SIN-ICN legs this week!

Got the Sothys kit on SQ221 on 04/14.

Was offered to me near the end of the flight.

Glad they are bringing back the colognes and perfumes!
I'm not sure which is worse, the Sothys or the Khiel's kit.

I think the Bvlgari BLV kit was the best they had. That was quite a big bottle

You can do that on a single award on Krisflyer. The trouble is that you can't make any stopovers along the way if you do it on a Saver award, and that's one heck of a long itinerary to take you from JFK to ICN...

Combs and razors should also be in lav drawer. As for ear plugs, they are available upon request from the crew. As are playing cards. I thunk stationary used to be available too, but unsure if still available.

Ferragamo bags are nice!

Got the new Ferragamo kits on flights to/from Tokyo over the last week:

SQ638 (SIN-NRT) on April 24th [77WN]
SQ11 (NRT-SIN) on April 30th [A380]

Agree that these Ferragamo kits are much better than the previous Sothy's. The pjs feel a lot softer and more comfortable than the scratchy ones they had last year as well.

Edit: I asked the crew about the new kits on the outbound flight and they said Narita is one of the first destinations to get it, but eventually they'll roll it out to all flights.

Great! Really didn't like the sothys. Loved the kiehls though. Now they just need to introduce some decent pyjamas.

It was still Sothys on SQ305 [LHR-SIN] on 1st May :(
