Lounges in Sydney
Hi!
I will be flying out on SQ J class, and my friend, around the same time on TG J class from SYD.
Since there is a Krisflyer Lounge, can I also access the Air NZ lounge so that we can have breakfast together?
Or, can he bring a guest in? Just wanted to know my "rights" in case we encountered a lounge dragon

You can both access both lounges by virtue of your J tickets.
Having fairly recently been in the F section of the SQ lounge at about 8am I was distinctly underwhelmed, and would strongly recommend you both go straight to the NZ lounge which has better views over the tarmac and a far more comprehensive breakfast and drink selection.
Certainly, although busy, there were plenty of seats and it didn't feel at all cramped. By contrast, even with just three of us in the F section of the SQ lounge we managed to get in each other's way (and I'm not sure the J section is much bigger).
