High prices on SQ

The prices for SQ flights between New York and Singapore in Economy seem to be unusually high in January. Does anyone know if there are sales that will bring it back down to the normal $1300 range? When do the sales begin? Deals seem to be through mid-December on their site.

Or, are you suggesting that Delta has some sales coming up that should bring SQ flight prices down?

SQ25/26 will be down gauged from A380 to 77W during this period.

Maybe that's the reason prices are so high

To save money of course.

I for one love it that many SQ routes have overinflated price tags. For work travel that is my only serious chance to avoid flying SQ.

Of course you can blame them. Not even Singatraz has laws that keep you from doing so.
